Hey kids – give your favorite teacher a shout out, and both of you could win free tickets to an upcoming York Revolution game!
The Revs have a new promotion, inviting students (or their parents) to nominate their favorite teacher for a great job this school year. Of the nominations, 20 winners will be chosen.
The nominating student and the teacher will each win two free tickets to the game of their choice on June 3, 4, 5, or 6, according to a news release. All of the games start at 6:30 p.m.
Students and parents can email nominations to teacher@yorkrevolution.com including their name, the teacher’s name, the school where the teacher works, and a brief reason why the teacher deserves to win, the release says.
Deadline is May 28.
“When school’s out, that truly is the beginning of summer,” Revolution President and General Manager Eric Menzer said in the news release. “What better way to recognize that than having our best teachers in the area take in a game on us? We look forward to hearing how certain teachers have impacted the lives of our younger fans.”
